A striking actor who is able to change his psychological state on a dime switching from charming to dangerous instantaneously. The actor will have a flare for verse, a fondness for improvisation and an incredible commitment to his physique and personal fitness.

[DIM]:
Male, Any ethnicity, 18-28, Muscular, 5’9” or more, Accents: Manchester/Yorkshire Accent/RP. Incredible physical discipline (ideally a tumbler), an exceptional character actor. [GEORGIE/ZOPHAR/DOLIN]:
Male, Any ethnicity, 18-28, Sinewy and toned/Balletic, 5’8” or more, Accents: Manchester/Yorkshire Accent/RP. Incredible physical discipline. Ideally a ballet dancer and a strong character actor. Serpentine elegance to his violent potential and a command of his smoothness of movement. [GEORGIE]: is Alex’s ‘love interest’, and though homosexual is deeply ashamed of it and fiercely homophobic. [ZOPHAR]: is a brutal and comedic serial killer. Has the opposite physicality to Georgie. [DOLIN]: Rough and inelegant. A political intruder into Alex’s life. A forward and enthusiastic energy such as one might find in a pledge at a frat-house. This role may cover [ALEX] and others.

[PETE/THE DOC/NURSE BROMINE]:
Male, Any ethnicity, 18-28, Slight and toned, 5’4”-5’9”, Accents: Manchester/Yorkshire Accent/RP/Liverpool. Incredible physical discipline and skill (ideally confident in jumps/basic gymnastics), striking, innocent and able to play light, wired and bouncy. Physically compact. [PETE]: The youngest and purest of Alex’s droogs. He is also Alex’s favorite. [THE DOC]: Aggressive and sarcastic. Has a rough and confrontational relationship with Alex. [NURSE BROMINE]: is a Carry On-esque North-Western nurse from that of 60s genre films. Exceptionally provocative and bitchy with an air of immense sexuality and enticement. This role may cover [ALEX] and others.

[JOE THE LODGER/POLICEMAN 1/NEW DROOG]:
Male, Any ethnicity, 18-28, Muscular, 5’7” or more, Accents: Manchester/Yorkshire Accent/RP. A strong character actor with a fantastic, commanding, intimidating presence. Brutality comes easily. A powerful villain. [JOE THE LODGER]: The Lodger that usurps Alex’s place in his family when Alex is in Jail. In a relationship with Alex’s mum whilst Dad is still living under the same roof. Essentially a monster. [POLICEMAN 1]: High-blown stereotype of what one would imagine hypocritical policemen to be. Comic timing vital. [NEW DROOG]: a member of Alex’s new gang. This role may cover [ALEX] and others.

[MARTY/THE WARDER/MARK ALEXANDER]:
Male, Any ethnicity, 18-28, Svelte. 5’7” or more, Accents: Manchester/Yorkshire Accent/RP. A strong character actor, confident mover. This track contains partial nudity; a striking physique and good body confidence is necessary. [MARTY]: the man that Alex ends up with, a balanced and stable young shop worker. [THE WARDER]: is the foul mouthed villain that guards Alex’s cell. Good comic timing and a rough, obscene physicality. [MARK ALEXANDER]: The rape victim (a woman in the film). He is a young TA, married to Frank Alexander. He is brutally beaten and raped resulting in his death. This role may cover [ALEX] and others.

[CHAPLAIN/MR DELTOID/NEW DROOG]:

A shapeshifter, allowing himself to be transformational. [CHAPLAIN]: The one saving grace; the voice of mankind and human rights. He is also a jaded alcoholic from Northern Ireland, sad and tired of his calling as the Chaplain of one of the most horrible jails in the North of England. [MR. DELTOID]: Alex’s less than appropriate Probation Officer. A sycophantic social climber, at his heart a pedophile who has spent years under the radar of child protection services. A dangerous and threatening menace but weak, sorrowful and limp. [NEW DROOG]: a member of Alex’s new gang. This role may cover [ALEX] and others.

[FRANK ALEXANDER/MUM/DR BRODSKY/NEW DROOG]:
Male, Any ethnicity, 18-30, Muscular. 5’ 9” or more, Accents: RP/Manchester. Strong, natural, and characterful actor with a great command of accent and physical persona. A shapeshifter, allowing himself to be transformational. [FRANK ALEXANDER]: Experiences a huge breakdown triggered by the horrendous attack of his husband by a pack of teenage lads. A political writer and politics lecturer; then a broken hermit, destroyed and paranoid. [MUM]: is the highly sexualized mother of Alex. Falls for the Lodger that has taken Alex’s room. She is sinister and overtly sensual. [DR. BRODSKY]: The medical authority in charge of administering the Ludivico Treatment to Alex. He is a sinister figure, one-noted and hard. Science reigns supreme, human feeling irrelevant. [NEW DROOG]: a member of Alex’s new gang. This role may cover [ALEX] and others.

[THE MINISTER/THE OLD WOMAN]:
Male, Any ethnicity, 18-30, Muscular, 5’10” or more, Accents: RP/Manchester. Strong, natural, and characterful actor with a great command of accent and physical persona. A shapeshifter, allowing himself to be transformational. [THE MINISTER]: Represents one tier of the government. Dangerous and dark; the only difference between Alex and The Minister is an orange tie, both are lost monsters. A pressured and sleazy man, has a very public front but lets that slip with quick effect. [THE OLD WOMAN]: The extremely characterized and broken 89-year-old that Alex attacks. Riddled with arthritis and agony. Has lived through two wars and has been alive for far too long. This role may cover [ALEX] and others.
