Members of the ensemble will understudy principal roles. 4 Swings will understudy ensemble tracks.
ROLES
JOE (30-35) – A young office accountant. Genuine and nice, and smitten with Violet. Vocal range: B2-G4
DWAYNE (25-30) – Doralee's husband. He is very supportive of her professional pursuits. Vocal range: E2-G4
JOSH (18-25, 18+ to play teen) – Violet's teenage son.
MISSY (30-40) – Franklin Hart's wife, oblivious to her husband's true nature. Will u/s DORALEE
MARIA DELGADO (20-30, Latine) – Young and vibrant secretary in Hart's office. Vocal range: F4-D5. Will u/s JUDY
DICK (30-35) – Judy's soon-to-be-ex-husband. An average guy, he left Judy for a younger woman. Will u/s HART
KATHY (30-40) – A secretary in Hart's office with a tendency to gossip. Vocal range: G4-D5. Will u/s VIOLET
MARGARET (30-40) – A secretary in Hart's office with a tendency to drink. Will u/s ROZ
TINSWORTHY (40+) – Franklin Hart's boss and Chairman of the Board. A good man, who may be wiser to Hart's ways than he lets on.
