Alberta in Harmony: The Planets brings together the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra for a rare co-production featuring more than 120 musicians on stage at Jack Singer Concert Hall. Conductor Naomi Woo leads the program in her ESO debut, highlighted by Gustav Holst's The Planets and the ESO premiere of John Luther Adams' Become Ocean. Choral ensembles Belle Canto and Cantilon Chamber Chorus, under the direction of Heather Johnson, also perform as part of this large-scale collaboration between Alberta's two leading orchestras.
