Photo Flash: Meet the Star of PINKALICIOUS at DM Playhouse

Pinkalicious (Halen Becker) can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents (Anne Arthur Frett, Lance Noe). Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe -- a dream come true for this pink-loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this pink predicament. "Pinkalicious" is based on the book by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann.

The Playhouse cast is directed by Ron Ziegler with music direction by Allison Lingren and choreography by James Kolnick. The cast includes Sydney Allen, Connor Bredbeck, Elsa Klein, Lindsay Mickelson, Greg Millar, and Megan Schettler Schug.

The Playhouse is Iowa's oldest and largest producing theatre. Located at the 42nd Street exit of I-235, the theatre has presented a full season of shows since 1919 and also offers a wide variety of educational experiences including classes for ages 4 to adult, theatre trips to New York, and volunteer opportunities onstage and backstage.
