Join the Des Moines Community Playhouse on May 13 for "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." This story is part of the 2015-2016 season of Friday Funday, a creative participatory story theatre program for children ages 4-6. Performances are at the Playhouse, Friday, May 13, at 9:30 AM, 10:45 AM, and 1:30 PM. Shows are approximately 45 minutes in length. Admission is $6 per person, adults and children. May's featured story is "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." "Wolves! Wolves are in the sheep!" A naughty boy has played one too many tricks on his parents. What happens when they don't believe him anymore?

Friday Funday performances are held monthly, September-May. A new season of Friday Funday performances begins Oct. 7, 2016, with "Chicken Little." A complete 2016-17 schedule of shows is available online at dmplayhouse.com.

The Playhouse is one of the oldest and largest community theatres in the US. Located at the 42nd Street exit of I-235, the theatre has presented a full season of shows since 1919 and also offers a wide variety of educational experiences including classes for ages 4 to adult, theatre trips to New York, and volunteer opportunities onstage and backstage.
