Crème Cupcake and Dessert Lounge Designs DM Playhouse Cupcake

A new cupcake is making its debut in Crème Cupcake and Dessert Lounge's cupcake case: the Show Stopper. Available just during the month of February, the Show Stopper was designed by Playhouse staff. One dollar from every Show Stopper cupcake purchase will be donated to the Playhouse. Jars of the Playhouse-designed sprinkles, featuring gold stars, are also for sale at the register with a portion of those proceeds donated to the theatre as well.

Throughout 2019, Crème will spotlight a local nonprofit with a craft cupcake inspired and individualized by each organization. The Playhouse Show Stopper cupcake is chocolate cake with marshmallow buttercream frosting and a caramel drizzle. Inside each cupcake is a peanut butter filling, guaranteed to steal the show. Atop the frosting are sprinkles specially designed by the Playhouse.

The Playhouse is one of the oldest and largest community theatres in the US. Located at the 42nd Street exit of I-235, the theatre has presented a full season of shows since 1919 and also offers a wide variety of educational experiences including classes for ages 4 to adult, theatre trips to New York, and volunteer opportunities onstage and backstage.

Crème Cupcake and Dessert Lounge was founded in 2010 with 36 cupcake varieties. Now customers can order custom cakes, cookies, and many other sweet treats for instore purchase or catered events.
