Vintage Theatre presents the Regional Premiere of "The Lyons" February 7 through March 9 at 1468 Dayton St., Aurora 80010. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $26 ($21 advance), Senior, Student, Group discounts available. The cast includes Deb Persoff (Rita), Joey Wishnia (Ben), Preston Lee Britton (Curtis), Haley Johnson (Lisa), Nathan Bock (Brian) and Darcy Kennedy (nurse).
"The Lyons" premiered on Broadway in 2012 and went on to receive Outstanding Play nominations from Drama League, Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk.
Vintage Theatre has partnered with Copacabana Grill Catering to create a menu especially for Vintage Theatre patrons who have a hankering to try some real Brazilian BBQ. A full meal, offered from 6 - 7 p.m., includes an appetizer or salad, the entrée and choice of dessert for $15. Appetizers such as Chicken Croquettes or Prosciutto with Melon and desserts like the traditional Brazilian Truffle confections or delectable cake by the slice, will be offered before and after the show with prices starting at $5.
