Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret to Present 'UNFORGETTABLE,' 8/15
Unforgettable - The Songs of Nat King Cole, Mathis, Marvin and more!, starring Leonard E. Barrett, Jr., opens at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret on Friday, August 15th at 8 p.m. Created by Lannie Garrett, the show features a collection of hit songs from some of America's most beloved music legends, Nat King Cole, Johnny Mathis, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles, James Brown, and more. Along with the songs, are stories and anecdotes about these legendary entertainers. Unforgettable continues on Fridays, August 22nd and 29th at 8 p.m.
A favorite of Denver area theatre audiences, Leonard E. Barrett, Jr. has been honored with numerous awards for his performances in musical theatre including Best Actor in a Musical, Best Season for an Actor, and Readers Choice for Best Actor in the Denver Post. John Moore, former drama critic for the Denver Post said, "The other worldly Barrett...He's a consummate showman."
Musical Director, Donna Debreceni accompanies Leonard on piano with Bijoux Barbosa on standup bass. Songs include such favorites as "Unforgettable," "Mona Lisa," "Route 66," and the "Lazy Hazy Crazy Days of Summer."
