BREAK SCIENCE Comes to Fox Theatre This February

Possibly connected as brothers in a past life, Adam Deitch (Lettuce, John Scofield, Wyclef Jean) and BorahmLee (Kanye West, Pretty Lights, Lee 'Scratch' Perry) have made Break Science a staple act on the electronic soul scene. Over the course of the group's decade long career, Break Science has continued to evolve, fusing golden era hip hop beats into their signature take on electronic music.

On 'Grid of Souls', Break Science's fourth studio album, the duo continues to sculpt their distinctive sound. Sonically, the album which features a number of guest vocalists and collaborators, including Karl Denson, Lettuce, Prob Cause, Raquel Rodriguez, and more - contains a dynamic and danceable collection of songs.

However, on a deeper level, 'Grid of Souls' functions as a thoughtful rumination on the mysteries of the universe, which is framed by a theory on the interconnectivity of collective consciousness from which the album draws its name.

Whether fans are drawn to the deeper meanings underlying the album or they just want to dance, 'Grid of Souls' offers a sanctuary to those who seek to transcend the typical parameters of electronic music.
