As part of it's 100th Season, the DuPont Theatre is pleased to present its first Broadway and Beyond production, Mitzi...Razzle Dazzle! My Life Behind the Sequins, for four (4) performances only. It opens on Friday evening, Emmy Award winning and Golden Globe nominated film and television legend Mitzi Gaynor lights up the stage in Razzle Dazzle! My Life Behind the Sequins, an intimate evening of laughs, love and music which critics have called "sensational," "hysterically funny", "enormously entertaining" and "a total star-spangled package of energy and joy."
In this glittering one woman tour-de-force, the star of blockbuster Hollywood musicals including Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific, (celebrating its 55th anniversary in 2013) Les Girls, Anything Goes and There's No Business Like Show Business shares side-splitting stories, poignant reminiscences and intimate reflections from her star-studded life and career - from often hilarious anecdotes about her famous friends and costars including Gene Kelly, Ethel Merman, and Marilyn Monroe, to her romance with Howard Hughes, and the joyous 52 year marriage to the love of her life,
Hollywood producer Jack Bean.
