Reedy Point Players to Present THE OUTSIDERS, 5/2-4
Coming to the Delaware City stage, the Reedy Point Players, LTD. will present THE OUTSIDERS, directed by Erin Miller, written by Christopher Sergel and adapted from the novel by S.E. Hinton. This production is produced by special arrangement with THE DRAMATIC PUBLISHING COMPANY of Woodstock, Illinois.
This timeless story centers on Ponyboy Curtis and his gang known as the "greasers." Their constant struggle against the "socs" leads to our protagonists finding themselves as well as learning what family really is. Featuring all your favorite characters including, Johnny, Sodapop, Dallas, Darry, Two-Bit and Cherry!
Throughout the show we offer a fully stocked concession stand and raffle opportunities! All proceeds benefit the Reedy Point Players (a 501(c)3 community theatre group), to help with their expenses and future endeavors to present live theatre productions to the cultural education, entertainment, and inspiration of the community.
Featuring the talents of BRANDON DAWSON, SEAN WAGNER, KEVIN AUSTRA, MATTHEW FURMAN, DEREK PINCHOT, DAN DAVIS, LAUREN BAILEY, JOHN BOLDUC, MAX O'NEILL, MOLLY KEIFER, HEATHER MIKLES, DAVE FULLERTON, RACHEL CATON, KEVIN SWED, BECCA CATON, SAM VERNOOY, ATHENA GREGORY, THOMAS MCVEY, TYLER CAPANNA, LISA INGRAM, GIA VAVALA, LILIAN RAMOS and ELENA RAMOS.
Performing for ONE WEEKEND ONLY, May 2 & 3 at 8pm and May 4 at 2pm. Performances will be held at the Delaware City Community Center, 250 Fifth Street, Delaware City, DE 19706. Tickets are $10. They offer a reduced rate for students, active military and seniors. Only cash will be accepted at the door - no checks, debit/credit cards, etc. No exceptions.
