The Delaware Theatre Company announces the celebrity casting of their first production of the 2013-2014 Season, ANY GIVEN MONDAY by Bruce Graham. Following a momentous 2013/2014 Season in which 47% of the audience was brand new to the Theatre, DTC anticipates strong turnouts at each performance for the chance to see these four cast members.

In ANY GIVEN MONDAY, the 2010 Barrymore Award Winner for Best Play, the audience learns that Lenny is a great guy; a good teacher, an excellent father, and a loving husband. So when his daughter (Sarah) has a crisis of faith and his wife (Risa) leaves him for a smooth-talking Casanova who builds Walmarts, his life is shattered. While Lenny consoles himself with pizza and Monday Night Football, his best friend Mickey takes matters into his own hands. A comedy about the curveballs life throws at you, ANY GIVEN MONDAY asks how far is "too far" when a family tries to get back on track to happily ever after?

Lucy DeVito plays Lenny's daughter Sarah. On the stage, Ms. DeVito has been seen in THE ELECTRIC BABY, THE BUREAU OF MISSING PERSONS and Nora and Delia Ephron's LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE. Lucy was Hilary in Mike Birbiglia's award winning film "Sleepwalk With Me" and seduced Edward Norton in the 2010 film "Leaves of Grass". She appears on FX's "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and has most recently appeared as Stephanie in TV's "Melissa and Joey". A graduate oF Brown University, Ms. DeVito (daughter of Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman), is also a member of the Ensemble Studio Theatre.

Playing Sarah's mother is Leslie Hendrix. For nearly two decades, Leslie has portrayed the Medical Examiner, Elizabeth Rodgers, on TV's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent". Other TV Credits include CBS's "The Good Wife" and "Guiding Light" as well as NBC's "Community" and "Third Watch". When asked about her excitement to join the ANY GIVEN MONDAY cast, Hendrix shared: "I have always considered myself primarily a comic actor, but for quite a while I've been playing serious roles that are rather "suited up", ie. doctors, lawyers, businesslike women. It's been a while since I had the opportunity to be in a comedy so I'd say this is right up my alley".

Kenny Morris, an accomplished Broadway actor who has starred in the Broadway and First National Tours of HAIRSPRAY, SUNSET BOULEVARD, and LES MISERABLES, joins the cast as Lenny, the father who must contemplate what he will stand up for and who he will stand up to. Other National Tour Credits include JOSEPH...DREAMCOAT (w/ David Cassidy), JOLSON (w/ Mike Burstyn), and DOUBLES (w/ RoBert Reed).

Reprising his role of Mickey is Michael Mastro, who played the role at 59 East 59th Street in New York City. Michael most recently has a recurring role in HBO's "Nurse Jackie" and has made appearances in TV's "Cosby", "Alias" and "Law & Order". Michael also holds numerous Broadway credits ranging from the most recent production of WEST SIDE STORY, the 2003 production of CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, and MAMMA MIA!. Younger generations may also remember Michael from Disney's "Jungle 2 Jungle" starring Tim Allen.

ANY GIVEN MONDAY, penned by Philadelphia playwright Bruce Graham, finds itself revolving around erratic, politically incorrect commentary on football, racism and marriage. "This play has been in my head for about 20 years," says Graham. "I always wanted to tie in the vicarious violence of football with the real thing." As a result, he says, "the humor is incredibly important; otherwise, the play becomes a rant and I hate that." Billed by the New York Post as "a dark comedy so offensive, so amoral and so generally unpleasant that you'll hate yourself for laughing at it...you'll hate yourself a lot", ANY GIVEN MONDAY doesn't let up until the house lights rise.

Delaware Theatre Company's production of ANY GIVEN MONDAY marks Executive Director Bud Martin's third directing experience with playwright Bruce Graham, but his eighth time working with Graham. "I think Bruce is a terrific writer," say Martin, "He has a great knack for taking you to your limit and then making you laugh." "Most importantly", says Martin, "ANY GIVEN MONDAY poses a difficult moral dilemma. Much like, last season's, THE OUTGOING TIDE", also penned by Graham,"the audience gets to experience ordinary people dealing with extraordinary things."

ANY GIVEN MONDAY will run at the Delaware Theatre Company September 4-22, 2013 and is generously sponsored by Corporation Service Company.
