In another exciting casting "twist", the DuPont Theatre announces the addition of Ashleigh and Ryan Di Lello from So You Think You Can Dance to the starry list of Ballroom with a Twist's featured dancers. This second hot young husband and wife team join the brilliant new dance production that rings in the New Year at the DuPont Theatre January 19-24, 2010.

Ashleigh and Ryan join host Barbara Eden and 2009 Dancing With the Stars first runner-up Dmitry Chaplin, the charming young Chelsie Hightower, and another glamorous husband and wife team Jonathan Roberts and Anna Trebunskaya to headline the extraordinary lineup of talent. Louis van Amstel, a four-time Dancing With the Stars pro, brings ballroom to the stage as he directs and choreographs the pros plus an ensemble of 14 fabulous young dancers from Dancing With the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, and High School Musical. American Idol alumni David Hernandez and Trenyce provide stylish vocal accompaniment and interludes.

This ground-breaking show pushes the boundaries of ballroom dance, infusing it with the energy and intensity of the latest "hip-hop" styles. It is slated to be the only national tour in the 2009 post-DWTS season in which to see these wildly popular dancers triumphantly taking the stage to showcase their sultry moves.

Ballroom with a Twist is an extravagant evening of entertainment for the entire family, highlighted by stunning costumes, magnificent music and breathtaking performances.

Ashleigh Di Lello began dancing at the early age of 3. After 5 years of company work in ballet, jazz, and hip hop, Ashleigh fell in love with ballroom dancing when she was 12 and became a DanceSport Junior Latin Champion and a United States Junior American Latin Finalist. At the age of 13, Ashleigh became very sick with a life-threatening illness that she would battle through for the next 41/2 years. After overcoming this illness, she suffered a serious back injury when trying to return to dance and spent the following year and a half in rehab. After an imposed six-year break, Ashleigh returned to ballroom dancing and has since become a 3-time DanceSport Amateur Latin Champion and a United States Amateur Latin Finalist. Ashleigh has performed and taught in 19 different countries and is now excited to be in SYTYCD Season with her husband, Ryan.

Ryan Di Lello began dancing at age four and began ballroom at age nine. He has since become a two-time amateur Latin runner-up and the Youth American Champion. In college, Ryan was invited to join the Brigham Young University ballroom tour team. He competed and performed with the team throughout North America and Europe, winning the World Latin Formation Championships in Blackpool, England. Recently, Ryan has enjoyed teaching and dancing in professional shows throughout the world with his wife and dance partner Ashleigh. They auditioned together for So You Think You Can Dance and are now the first married couple to make the show.
