In Paris, Athens, Dubai and cities across the US, audiences have thrilled to the theatrical wizardry of the extraordinary international troupe CIRQUE LE MASQUE. CIRQUE LE MASQUE: CARNIVALE performs its dazzling display of theatrical and athletic artistry at the DuPont Theatre for three shows only on Saturday and Sunday, March 27-28, 2010.

The cast of twenty three gravity-defying performers of CIRQUE bring an entirely new dimension to circus arts. In this sophisticated, animal-free, European-style circus, the brilliantly costumed acrobats, jugglers, comics, and aerialists perform gasp-inducing acts of balance, strength, grace, and teamwork, set to spell-binding special effects and creatively inventive lights, choreography, and music. Carnivale is filled with energy, color, and an original story line. The intimate proscenium theater setting of the DuPont Theatre gives the audience a dangerously up-close, exciting interaction with these intrepid artists. It is the ultimate theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.

The Garza Family, also known as "The Living Statues," is a slow-motion acrobatic balancing trio who do their work painted in solid silver. The three members slowly assume statue-like positions, moving into their acrobatic balancing formations, silhouetted by a center spotlight. The Garzas studied ancient Greek and Roman statue-like formations and learned to slowly mold themselves from one form to another. The act has evolved from ordinary temple-hand balancing to an amazing display of strength and grace. The Garzas were nominated the act of the 80's on the Las Vegas Strip.
