VTA Presents Cocktails with Larry Miller May 7
Victoria Theatre Association presents Cocktails with Larry Miller: Little League, Adultery and Other Bad Ideas as part of the Universal 1 Variety Series, Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 7:30 pm in the historic Victoria Theatre.
Grab a cocktail with friends and spend the evening with one of Hollywood's most recognizable faces, comedian Larry Miller. Having appeared in over 100 films and television shows, Mr. Miller takes the stage at the Victoria Theatre to share his comic perspective about marriage, children and drinking and how each one leads to the other two.His acting career began in a memorable scene alongside Richard Gere and Julia Roberts in the blockbuster film, Pretty Woman. Larry has played unforgettable roles in such films as The Princess Diaries, The Nutty Professor, Bee Movie and Ten Things I Hate About You. He is also a proud member of Christopher Guest's ensemble cast in the films Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind and For Your Consideration.Miller has made dozens of appearances on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "The Late Show with David Letterman" and "Real Time with Bill Maher." He has also starred in his own HBO comedy specials and on Broadway in Neil Simon's play, The Dinner Party. Other television credits include "Desperate Housewives", "Medium", "Burn Notice", "Law & Order" and "Seinfeld", in addition to a recurring role on "Boston Legal."
Dayton audiences will be treated to "Cocktails," Larry's elegant mix of humor, theatre and music, which will send them home with the funniest hangover they've ever had!
