Victoria Theatre Association and the Heidelberg Distributing Company present the 2011 Michelob Ultra Cool Films Series showing of Victor Fleming's The Wizard of Oz, August 5-7, 2011 at the historic Victoria Theatre. Come dressed as your favorite character from the film!

Starring Judy Garland, Frank Morgan and Ray Bolger, The Wizard of Oz has warmed the hearts of millions of fans as Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion make their way through the world of Oz. Know for classic songs like "Over the Rainbow" and "We're Off to See the Wizard," Garland is featured as the innocent young girl named Dorothy who is unexpectedly whisked off in a tornado to an unknown land. With the help of Glinda the Good Witch of the North (Billie Burke), she follows the yellow brick road toward The Emerald City with the hope The Wizard will show her the way home.

With five Oscar® nominations and two wins in the Best Original Song and Best Original Score categories, The Wizard of Oz is beloved by generations and ranks #6 on the American Film Institute's 100 Years ...100 Movies List. Individual tickets are available day-of-show at the Victoria Theatre box office, beginning one hour prior to showtime.

Films are shown at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 3 p.m. on Sundays in the air-conditioned comfort of the Victoria Theatre. Recreating the feel of the old-time movie palaces, guests may enjoy free popcorn and soda in the lobby beginning one hour prior to showtime.
