Both the Schuster Center Celebration Choir and Schuster Center Broadway Children's Choir have been selected to perform the national anthem at a Dayton Dragons game during the 2010 season. In advance of the Dragons appearance, the Choirs will combine to present their annual Spring Concert, Sunday, April 25 at 5:30 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church in downtown Dayton.

This year is the first year both choirs have auditioned and been accepted to sing the National Anthem before a Dayton Dragons game. Specific dates have not been announced but will be publicized on the Victoria Theatre Association website at www.victoriatheatre.com.

Sponsored by Victoria Theatre Association and the Dayton Power & Light Company Foundation, the April 25th joint concert will feature music for all ages including selections from the hit-TV show Glee, Broadway musical Billy Elliott and a tribute to Rodgers and Hammerstein. Also on the program is Dr. James Arthur Williams, University of Dayton faculty and retired choral director from Wilberforce University. Dr. Williams is guest conducting two spirituals with the Schuster Center Celebration Choir.

The Spring Concert on Sunday, April 25 is free and open to the public. The concert will begin at 5:30 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church.
