Nominated for 3 Academy@ Awards and winner of the 1955 Golden Globe for 'Best Cinematography,' BRIGADOON is a 1950s classic that continues to impress critics for its integration of song and dance. BRIGADOON tells a story of two Americans traveling in Scotland, Tommy Albright (Gene Kelly) and Jeff Douglas (Van Johnson), who stumble upon enchanted village, Brigadoon, a town from the past that returns for one day every one-hundred years. When Tommy falls in love with Brigadoon village-girl, Fiona, he has a big decision to make. Rated G.

Enjoy free popcorn and soda in the lobby starting one hour prior to each show time. Come early and enjoy a classic cartoon and a theatre organ concert on the Mighty Wurlitzer before each Cool Films movie.

Victoria Theatre Association is one of Dayton's premier arts organizations, presenting the Premier Health Broadway Series, the Morris Furniture Company Family Series, the Cool Films Series, Projects Unlimited Star Attractions, National Geographic Live Series, and The Frank M. Tait Foundation Discovery Series, which features curriculum-enhanced live theatre productions for school children. In addition to the performances it presents, Victoria Theatre Association also manages the historic Victoria Theatre, the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, and the Metropolitan Arts Center, which houses The Loft Theatre. Victoria Theatre Association receives funding from a variety of diverse public, corporate, individual and private sources, including the Montgomery County Arts and Cultural District and the Ohio Arts Council. The Ohio Arts Council and The National Endowment for the Arts helped fund this program or organization with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
