About this studio
Zenon Dance School is a non-profit school in the Hennepin Center for the Arts in downtown Minneapolis, operating alongside the legacy Zenon Dance Company. It offers open adult and youth classes taught by a large faculty of working Twin Cities dance artists, choreographers and educators whose backgrounds span modern, ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and tap. Beyond drop-in classes the school runs Zone, a non-professional intensive program for students wanting to deepen their training; Xchange, a work-study program in which students volunteer in exchange for class credit; Camp Zenon, a week-long chance for young dancers to sample a range of styles and teachers; and a youth outreach program. Scholarships, discounts and other financial assistance are available.
