About this studio
Zenon Dance Company and School is based at 528 Hennepin Avenue in the Hennepin Center for the Arts in downtown Minneapolis. The school offers open adult and youth classes taught by a large faculty of working Twin Cities dance artists, with training in ballet, modern and contemporary technique alongside jazz, hip hop, tap and youth creative movement, plus complementary offerings such as yoga and conditioning. Distinct programs include Zone, a non-professional intensive for students who want to deepen their dance experience and work with visiting choreographers; Xchange, a work-study scheme allowing students to volunteer in exchange for class credit; and Camp Zenon, which lets young dancers sample a range of styles and instructors over the course of a week.
