About this studio
Vintage Ballroom occupies a restored 1887 building in Omaha's Old Market district, originally the Bemis Brothers Bag Company and now listed on the National Register of Historic Places; its dance floor is the original wood of the old loading dock. The business operates both as a wedding and event venue and as a ballroom dance school. Weekly adult dance classes run at the downtown ballroom, covering social ballroom and swing along with foxtrot, cumbia, West Coast swing and country two-step, and the studio also teaches couples preparing for competitions and offers private wedding first-dance lessons and choreography packages. Group class sessions are sold on a flat monthly rate, and the studio has hosted inclusive dance competitions open to dancers of all identities.
