About this studio
Pear Tree Performing Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts organization at 4801 Northwest Radial Highway in Omaha, Nebraska, offering affordable dance and dramatic arts instruction for youth under the motto Culture, Confidence, Community and Creativity. Founded and directed by Natasha Partridge-Butler, its stated vision is to ensure all young people in Omaha have access to high-quality arts experiences; programs are open to all and sponsorships and tuition assistance are offered to students with financial need. Tuition is a flat monthly fee rather than a per-class charge. Alongside its regular class schedule the organization runs a summer session with camps and classes, a competition team, and community performances such as Dance in the Park at the Riverfront Pavilion. It also rents its facility and raises funds through an Adopt a Dancer program.
