About this studio
Shining Stars Dance School is a Christian, faith-based studio at 6421 Hwy 271 South in Fort Smith, Arkansas, now in its 21st year. It describes itself as a safe space for all to explore dance while honouring Christian values: music, recital themes and costumes are chosen with modesty and appropriateness in mind, and choreography is technical and fun but modestly presented, set to Christian or child-appropriate music. The school emphasises the physical and mental benefits of dance and welcomes dancers of any age or ability. It has worked with hundreds of dancers over two decades, runs classes and camps alongside a competition program, and has been named Best of River Valley dance studio for five years with five consecutive Sapphire Awards.
