On Your Toes Dance Studio was established in 1998 and describes itself as a family-oriented studio serving the St. Louis area, with the tagline 'Where Dance and Family Come Together'. It offers both private lessons and group classes to students of all ages in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, musical theatre, pointe and pom-pons, alongside tumbling, fitness classes and specialty classes. The studio's stated philosophy is that dancers should receive quality instruction while having fun and finding a passion for the art form, and it aims to educate parents about dance as well as students, offering encouragement together with constructive criticism. One annual recital is held in mid-June and all dancers are invited to take part.
