NWA Conservatory of Cl. Ballet

The Northwest Arkansas Conservatory of Classical Ballet is a classical ballet school at 3111 SE J Street in Bentonville, Arkansas, founded to give the region a classical training ground of high artistic standard. It is the only registered school of London's Royal Academy of Dance in Arkansas, and teaching begins with the RAD syllabus before introducing other disciplines and styles. Classical ballet classes run from age 2 through adult, with auxiliary classes for students aged 6 and above, plus a trainee program for serious students seeking more performance and choreography experience, private lessons and summer dance sessions. Faculty all hold a dance degree, RAD credentials or professional dance or teaching backgrounds. The school stresses a nurturing environment, a traditional but age-appropriate dress code and family-friendly music, and issues progression reports. Its performances include The Nutcracker and a Spring Fanfare, and the school year begins at the end of August.
