About this studio
Huntington Center for Performing Arts, at 310 New York Avenue in Huntington, New York, has taught music, dance and theatre on Long Island for over 20 years, promising what it calls NYC-style training. Dance is delivered through Huntington Ballet Academy, which uses the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum to introduce children from around age 3 or 4 to classical ballet and continues through graded levels; adult ballet is also offered. The center's Suzuki music program teaches violin, viola, cello, piano and voice from age 3, and a musical theatre program for ages 7 and up builds acting and stage confidence, staging productions such as Beauty and the Beast. Students also perform in a spring performance. Summer camps are offered and the center rents its space. It is affiliated with Long Island Ballet Theatre.
