Hollywood Connection

Hollywood Connection is a touring dance convention and competition company founded in 2003 by Bill Bohl and Kimberly Rhinelander, now administered from Las Vegas, Nevada. Rather than running weekly studio classes, it stages regional convention weekends, bootcamps and a national finals for studios across the country, offering workshop classes from age 5 up and competition entry from age 7 up. Its stated purpose is to complement in-studio training with commercial-dance instruction, performance opportunities and an educational approach to auditions, plus business seminars for studio owners and teachers. The company also runs a Teen Dance Company. Its published values emphasize respect for dancers at all levels, inclusivity, teamwork and a low-drama atmosphere, and it rewards technique, showmanship, choreography and storytelling in competition.
