About this studio
Trading as Nevada Dance Workshop, this Minden, Nevada school offers dance training for ages 2 through adult, from preschool classes and 5-7 year old combo classes through technique and performance classes for ages 8 to 18, adult dance and fitness classes, and private one-on-one lessons. Styles taught include ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, contemporary, acro, lyrical and ballroom. Directors Erica and Oliver are professional artists with international performing experience who returned home to build the school, and the faculty draws on a range of dance backgrounds. Serious students can train in the Nevada Dance Company pre-professional program, and dancers perform in an annual Christmas show and an end-of-season production as well as auditioning for Nevada Dance Company's Nutcracker. A summer dance program is also offered.
