For five decades, NBT has flourished thanks to a caring and compassionate community, patrons who believed in the power of dance, and a devoted Board of Trustees; and with the utmost gratitude, we recognize the spirited leadership of our Co-Founder and Board Co-Chair Nancy Houssels, who remains at the heart of this cherished cultural institution.

Our life on the stage reflects a desire for artistry, a love for collaboration, and a passion and hope for the future. We take great pride in the breadth of performances over the years, and the dancers who brought them to life. We also know that training, education, and creating opportunities for youth through our Academy and Community Education programs is the foundation of our mission and the key to our success.
