Dancesport of Boston

DanceSport Boston is a ballroom dance studio at 24 Athens Street in Weymouth, Massachusetts, run by instructors and co-owners Anna Maria and John Paul, serving the Boston South Shore area including Hingham, Cohasset and Quincy. It teaches both American and International styles of ballroom to singles, couples and groups through group classes and private lessons, with a stated philosophy of building dancers from the feet up by concentrating on fundamentals and setting each student a personal roadmap from beginner to advanced. Most students arrive with little or no previous experience. Alongside regular classes the studio runs Dance Party Fridays and other social dance events, wedding first-dance lessons for couples and family dances, showcase and spotlight performance opportunities, seminars and coaching, and it sells ballroom dance shoes. It advertises itself as a three-time winner of Best of the South Shore for dance lessons and dance studio.
