About this studio
Dance Concepts is a dance studio at 101 Prosper Way in Brick Township, New Jersey, and has been operating for about 30 years, most recently from a new location. Training starts at age three and covers ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, gymnastics, contemporary and musical theater; most classes are combination classes that build in gymnastics work. The studio's stated aims are developing strength, flexibility, coordination, grace, poise, posture and self-confidence rather than only career preparation, and its preschool program focuses on coordination, rhythm, song and basic dance movement. Dance Concepts is a licensed Dancely studio and also hosts Unique Kids, an integrative, all-abilities dance program developed by Laraine Kauffman for children, teens and adults. Private lessons and competition training are available on request, along with summer camp and a free trial class.
