International Ballroom Inc

International Ballroom Dance Studio has taught ballroom dancing in the greater Charleston, South Carolina area since 2006 and runs two locations: Pinepoint Plaza in West Ashley, Charleston, and the Queensborough Shopping Center in Mount Pleasant. Its program covers an introductory package in the seven major social dances, private lessons, group classes, weekly social dance parties and a wedding first-dance program, along with dance travel and student showcases produced under its Starlight Productions arm. The instructors are certified professionals who actively compete, and are described as versed in both the American and International styles; the studio is affiliated with the NDCA and Dance Vision. Regular special events include night-club style series such as bachata, and advanced concept lectures in Smooth and Rhythm technique. Students also perform in the annual Oxygen Ball benefiting the American Lung Association.
