Artistic Motion Dance

Artistic Motion Dance is at 4658 South Higley Rd #101 in Gilbert, Arizona. Its program starts with Tiny Tots, a ballet/tap combination class for 2-6 year olds covering the basics of dance and creative and locomotor skills, and continues through Foundation Classes for beginners and more experienced dancers from kindergarten up to teen level in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, tumbling and theatre. Three performance tracks sit above these: the STARS Performance Team, a beginner-intermediate group of dancers aged 3-15 who perform at local parades, festivals and sporting events without competing; Initiate, an intermediate competition team for ages 5-17 with a lighter commitment, modest costumes and no required Sunday rehearsals; and Emergence, the advanced company for ages 6-18 who train 16+ hours a week and attend conventions and competitions, travelling each summer. All students, including Tiny Tots, appear in the annual recital, and summer programs are offered.
