STARLIGHT EXPRESS opens at Artisan Center Theater on Friday, August 12, 2016 and runs through Saturday, September 3, 2016.  The 196 seat theater-in-the-round is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst.  Performances are at 7:30pm on Monday, Tuesday,Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with 3:00pm matinees on Saturdays beginning August 20. Reserved seating tickets are $22.00 for adults, $20.00 for students and seniors, and $11.00 for children 12 and under.  Monday through Thursday tickets are $20.00 for adults and $9.00 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased online at ArtisanCT.com, or by calling the box office at 817-284-1200.

Theatre Three announces their partnership with the Deaf Action Center to begin a series of interpreted performances for patrons that are deaf or hard of hearing. The partnership will begin a process wherein one performance of each production in both Theatre Three's main stage season and Theatre Too's season will have BEI/RID certified interpreters in place to sign the performance.

Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academies Of Dallas Hosts 5th Annual Summer Olympics, Today

DULUTH, Ga., July 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ In just two weeks, the world will collectively tune into the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academies, a national early childhood education franchise with three decades of experience, along with 835 students from 14 of its centers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area will gather on July 22 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas to host their own summer Olympics the 5th Annual Kids 'R' Kids Summer Olympics. The event will benefit the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC). The games will kick off at 9 a.m. with an opening ceremony and the National Anthem sung by patient Skyler Wicke. Students will compete in 10 different events for trophies and celebrate a successful fundraising event with a closing ceremony and check presentation to the hospital from the school raising the most money on behalf of the organization.
