SxS Productions is pleased to announce the official tour dates for the eagerly anticipated and premiere Texas tour of nationally renowned drag comedian Miss Coco Peru, The four city, "Miss Coco Peru Takes on Texas" tour will run January 14 - 17, 2010 with one-night only shows in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.

Miss Coco Peru, aka Clinton Leupp, grew up in the Bronx on City Island and got his start in the early 90's as a downtown favorite in the cabaret world of NYC after he wrote, produced, directed, and starred in his first show "Miss Coco Peru in My Goddamn Cabaret."

Coco Peru is best known for her roles in Fineline's feature-length film Trick by director Jim Fall and IFC's feature-length film Girls Will Be Girls directed by Richard Day. Peru received the Best Actress Award at the HBO Comedy Arts Festival for Girls Will Be Girls - a portrayal that also garnered a Best Actor Award at the Outfest Film Festival. Other film appearances include To Wong Foo: Thanks for Everything - Julie Newmar, Nick and Jane, and Straight-Jacket.

Coco_Tour_122809_FINALPage 2 of 2 Coco Peru can be heard in the Disney animated feature film, The Wild as Mamma Hippo! Peru has also appeared on numerous TV series including Arrested Development, Twins, Will and Grace, New YorkUndercover, Rude Awakening and Boy Meets Boy.

Coco Peru was also featured in a solo episode as part of the LOGO comedy series "Wisecrack."
