Shirley Jones Comes to the Texan for DANCING WITH THE MOVIES Tonight

It's the world premiere of the new dance stage sensation, DANCING WITH THE MOVIES. Hollywood's biggest musical moments recreated and reinvented with a new, exciting twist. The world premiere will take place at the Texan Theatre, Greenville, TX, tonight, Feb 20 and tomorrow, Feb 21. Guest starring in this powerhouse production will be Academy Award winner, Shirley Jones, star of such classics as Oklahoma!, Carousel and The Music Man.

Ms. Jones will be hosting and performing a special number with her son, TV and movie actor, Patrick Cassidy. Seven of TV and stage's top choreographers bring to life the classic movie dances of yesterday with a fresh new vision!

Starring Dancing With The Stars Celebrity Pros, Dmitry Chaplin and Anna Trebunskaya, along with Dancing With The Stars cast members Oksana Dmytrenko, Anya Fuchs, Magda Fialek, Kiki Nyemchek and Brent Borbon and So You Think You Can Dance top finalists, including: Legacy, Jonathan Platero, Randi Lynn Strong and Nick Garcia and combining forces with singing stars from American Idol: Vonzell Solomon and Von Smith.

DANCING WITH THE MOVIES recreates some of the most memorable musical moments from movies like West Side Story, Grease, Chicago, Hairspray and Moulin Rouge. New dances to scores from such movies asThe Godfather, Titanic, The Matrix and The Lion King. Continuing with a rotating cast of celebrities and dancers stay tuned. Show is directed by Emmy Award winner, Paul Winkelman.
