Rover Dramawerks to Continue Season with FOUR WEDDINGS AND AN ELVIS

By: Dec. 02, 2015
Rover Dramawerks is excited to continue their SWEET 16 Season with the new comedy Four Weddings and an Elvis, by Nancy Frick. Performances will be at Rover's theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. from January 7 through 30, with an additional matinee on Saturday, January 16 at 2:00 p.m.

Anything can happen in a wedding chapel in Las Vegas...and does! From a couple getting married (Emily Burgardt and Henry Okigbo) by the King himself (played by Gary Eoff) as revenge on their exes, to arrogant, aging stars (Veronica Day and Kenneth Fulenwider) tying the knot as a publicity stunt by an over-the-hill Elvis (Don Kruizinga), to a ceremony (involving Garrett Reeves, Danielle Shirar, and Louis Tarmichael) that really needs to happen before the police arrive, to the nuptials of the wedding chapel owner herself (played by Eileen Kennedy Alger), what happens in Vegas...is hilarious!

Matt Stepan serves as director, with Molly Bower as Stage Manager. Set and lighting design is by Maxim Overton with sound design by Danica Bergeron. Samantha Grace is costume designer, and Jack Earl Piland is props designer.

Tickets for Four Weddings and an Elvis are $22.00 Friday and Saturday nights and $16.00 on Thursday and the one Saturday matinee. Thursday, January 7 is Preview Night, with all seats $10.00 in advance online or "pay-what-you-can" at the door.

Tickets for Four Weddings and an Elvis may be ordered online at www.roverdramawerks.com, and season subscription packages for the remainder of Rover's SWEET 16 Season are also available. For more information about Rover Dramawerks, please visit them online or call 972-849-0358.
