Rover Dramawerks Begins 19th Season With Romantic Comedy ANY WEDNESDAY Image

Rover Dramawerks kicks off their 19th Season with the classic romantic comedy Any Wednesday by Muriel Resnik. Performances will be at Rover's theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances run January 10-26 on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

John, a company president (played by Mark Massey), is using the executive suite to house his mistress, Ellen (Jade Reyes), whom he sees once a week. Cass (Eddy Herring) recently sold his factory to the middle-aged romancer and is mistakenly directed to the suite by a new secretary...as is John's wife Dorothy (Lucia Welch), who assumes Ellen and Cass are a nice young married couple. All the confusion creates a delightful comedy, in which tax advantages don't always translate to love.

Carol M. Rice serves as director, with Kelton Neals as stage manager. Set design is by Abby Kipp-Roberts, lighting design is by Kenneth Hall, and sound design is by Jason Rice. Connie George provides costume design, with props designed by Kristin M. Burgess. Randy and Diana Wright of The Wright Solution are Any Wednesday's Artist Angel Sponsors.

Thursday, January 10 is Preview Night, with all seats $10.00 in advance online or "pay-what-you-can" at the door. Following the show on Friday, January 11, Rover will host their First Friday INSIDERS reception, where patrons can meet the cast, director, and designers, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Wright, the Artist Angel Sponsors. Regular ticket prices for Any Wednesday are $24.00 Friday and Saturday nights and $18.00 on Thursdays and matinees, with discounts for teachers, students, and seniors. Group rates are also available. Tickets may be ordered online at www.roverdramawerks.com, and season subscriptions for Rover's 19th Season are also available.
