What: KVPAC's Saturday Family Art Workshops ~ Plush Workshop
Make collaborative arts & crafts projects as a family. A parent must attend with children, no exceptions. This is a mixed-age class for PreK to age 12. Plush Workshop on 9/12/2009.
When: Saturday, September 12, 2009, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

What: KVPAC's Masquerade & Martini Mixer
Annual Gala Hosted by KVPAC´s Board of Trustees benefiting the Katy Visual & Performing Arts Center.
Enjoy an evening of Food, Silent Auction, Cash Bar & Live Entertainment!

What: KVPAC's Encore Players Presents Into The Woods
Katy's only adult community theatre performs Stephen Sondheim's enchanting Broadway hit. Into the Woods brings to musical life Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood and other beloved fairy tale characters and gives the audience a look at what happens after "Happily Ever After". Interwoven with these classic tales is the story of the baker and his wife, whose longing for a child is thwarted by a mischievous witch who lives next door. Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Book by James Lapine. Directed by Jill Manser. Musical Direction by Elizabeth Mace. Sponsored by State Farm Insurance Agent, Todd Shipp (todd.shipp.qwnd@statefarm.com) Note: While this show is based on childhood fairy tales, it is intended for an adult audience (PG-13).
When: October 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 & 17, 2009. All performances begin at 8:00PM

What: KVPAC's COMPANY Production of Sleepy Hollow
Ichabod Crane, a lightly goofy schoolmaster, comes to The Farming community of Sleepy Hollow with all his worldly possessions looking for a good life and a wealthy wife who will supply it. Once he sets eyes on the local beauty, Katrina Van Tassel, he's sure his dream will come true. Unhappily for Ichabod, Katrina has a boyfriend, and to complicate matters the graveyard in town is haunted by a small army of restless spirits, including the most famous phantom of all, the Headless Horseman who chases after Ichabod. Enjoy this spooky show alive with hilarious action and fun, suitable for all age groups.
When: October 29, 30 & 31, 2009.
