Denton Community Theatre to Present WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION

In this classic Agatha Christie tale, Leonard Vole is accused of murdering a wealthy older widow. His wife could testify to prove his innocence, but she takes the stand as a witness for the prosecution. With a plot twist here and a turn there, true motives are revealed and we find out if the true murderer will ever come to justice. This riveting mystery is in three acts.

Director, Sharon Veselic and Set Designer, Philip Lamb have a unique visual concept for this traditional work and the cast is filled with talented veterans of the Campus Stage. This production will also be the "test run" for a new stage lighting system at the Campus Theatre, which hopefully will not add the wrong kind of mystery to the show! Veselic has expressed excitement about this show, not only due to the unique visual aspects, but she says that her cast has "set the bar high."

Performances are September 11, 12, 17,18, 19 at 7:30pm and September 13, 20 at 2:00pm at the Campus Theatre located at 214 W. Hickory, Denton. Ticket prices are $22 for adults, $18 for seniors (62+), and $15 for students (through college) and $10 for children 12 and under.
