Denton Community Theatre (DCT) presents "Christmas at the Campus – 2009" with their production of A Tuna Christmas. Buster Maloney and Justin Harmon bring all 22 of the colorful characters to life on the Campus Theatre stage.  The production is directed by Donna Trammell, assisted by Clay White.

Vera Carp has won the Tuna, Texas, annual Christmas Yard Display Contest 14 years in a row. This year, however, a mysterious "Christmas Phantom," known for vandalizing the yard displays, threatens to throw the contest into turmoil. Meanwhile, Joe Bob Lipsey struggles to mount his production of A Christmas Carol despite numerous vexations, Stanley Bumiller attempts to end his probation and leave Tuna, while Bertha Bumiller tries to hold her family together for the holiday season. The other colorful residents of Tuna are also on hand to provide holiday hilarity, Tuna style!

Performances are December 11, 12, 18, 19 at 7:30 pm & Sept. 13, 20 at 2 pm.  A special performance will be held at 7:30 pm on Thursday, December 17 to honor Bob and Daisy Rogers. All proceeds for the evening will benefit DCT's Black Box project.

Ticket price is $15 for all performances and seating is reserved.  Tickets are available at www.campustheatre.com, or at the Campus Theatre Box Office, 214 W. Hickory in Denton, Monday through Friday from 1:00pm – 5:00pm.  Credit card purchases may be done over the phone during these same hours by calling 940-382-1915.
