Dallas Theater Center Participates in Blue Star Theatres Program
By: BWW News Desk
Dallas Theater Center is thrilled to be the only Texas theater company and one of 22 theaters nation-wide to participate in Blue Star Theatres, a collaboration between Theatre Communications Group and Blue Star Families, with leadership support from the MetLife Foundation. This initiative is intended to recognize the contributions of service families and to build stronger connections between the theatre community and military families.
As a participating theater, DTC offers a 15% discount on preview performance tickets and on all education programs to military personnel and their immediate families. Tickets are subject to availability and the discount is not valid for Pay-What-You-Can-Performances or seating in Area 4. Complete details about the program and details on how to use the discount are available on DTC’s Blue Star Theatres page, which is accessible through the Blue Star Families portal. The discount went into effect beginning September 28, 2012, for all DTC preview performances and education programs throughout the year.
