Dallas-based Audacity Theatre Lab teams up with Fun House Theatre and Film to present Jeff Swearingen in Andy Eninger's weird and wonderful one-man show "The Last Castrato."

"The Last Castrato" centers on Joseph, who was born without a penis, and his round-the-world love affair with Elena, who was born with her skin inside out. Elena was blessed with a beautiful singing voice to balance her deformity, while Joseph has absolutely no talent whatsoever to make up for his missing member. The lack of a penis he muses, "in terms of artistic merit is worth nothing."

Last presented by Audacity from 2005 to 2007 at various festivals from New York to Phoenix, THE LAST CASTRATO makes a special return to Dallas for a limited engagement.

Featuring Audacity Theatre Lab member and Fun House Creative Director Jeff Swearingen and directed by ATL Artistic Director Brad McEntire, "The Last Castrato"

"The Last Castrato" playing Tuesdays thru Saturdays at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 3:00 pm, today, January 14 - 26, 2014 at the Margo Jones Theatre, 1121 First Avenue in Fair Park, Dallas TX 75210. http://www.audacitytheatrelab.com/
