AIR PLAY Rescheduled at AT&T Performing Arts Center

By:

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center announced today that Air Play has been rescheduled. Previously scheduled for May 25 through May 27, 2017, the show was canceled due to a malfunction of the fire suppression system in the Wyly Theatre. Ride the wind and dream with Air Play, a modern spectacle that brings to life the very air we breathe. Flying umbrellas, larger-than-life balloons, giant kites floating over the audience, and the biggest snow globe you've ever seen will make you gasp in wonder and laugh until it hurts. Air Play will perform four shows Thursday, May 3 through Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Wyly Theatre in the downtown Dallas Arts District.

Tickets and parking purchased for the previously scheduled engagement will be honored for the rescheduled performance. Ticket prices for Air Play range from $49 to $29 and can be purchased online at www.attpac.org, by phone at 214-880-0202 or in person at the AT&T Performing Arts Center Winspear Opera House Box Office at 2403 Flora Street. The Box Office will be open 10 a.m. -

4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 90 minutes before performances - closed Saturdays and Sundays.

Center Members get access to the best available tickets. Call Membership Services at 214-978-2888 or go to www.attpac.org/support to join. Center Membership presale begins July 5 at 10 a.m.

AIR PLAY

Thursday, May 3 & Friday May 4 - 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, May 5 - 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

AIR PLAY is a circus-style adventure of two siblings journeying through a surreal land of air, transforming the ordinary into objects of uncommon beauty. Fabrics dance in the wind, balloons have a mind of their own, confetti turns into the night sky, and an enormous canopy of hovering silk forever alters their future.

The creation of husband & wife team Seth Bloom and Christina Gelsone, AIR PLAY merges their circus and street theater performance art with the sculptural artistry of Daniel Wurtzel. With visual images seemingly sewn from the sky, this poetic ode to childhood will enchant and electrify the young and young

at heart.
