The return of the British to take Havana, at Cafe Brecht Theatre from Friday April 3, in a new version of "The taking of Havana by the British", the playwright and director José Milian, National Theatre Award 2008 .

The play, written in 1969, is one of the classics of Cuban Contemporary Theatre, and received the same year the First Mention Contest Casa de las Americas.

Celebrating the 45th anniversary of this important release, this new version offers a more contemporary look of the tragic events of 1762 where Havana was given to England by the Governor General of the Island, Juan de Prado y Portocarrero.
