The Nutcracker for Kids is a narrated adaptation of Tchaikovsky's timeless ballet, presented by Pacific Symphony as part of its Family Musical Mornings series at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. Dancers from the American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie School, led by artistic director Susan Brooker, bring the story to life as audiences follow Clara on her journey to the Land of Sweets, encountering the Mouse King, the Nutcracker, and the Sugar Plum Fairy. The performance is set against one of the most festive scores ever written and is suitable for the whole family.
