Shrek the Musical at OBCTheater

Shrek the Musical, based on the Oscar-winning Dreamworks Animated Film is coming to Obctheater September 11 - 20, 2026. In this hilarious adventure a grumpy ogre named Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to rescue a feisty princess who doesn't exactly need saving. Add a pint-sized villain, a gingerbread cookie with an attitude and kingdom of storybook outcasts and you have an inrreverently funny and suprsingly sweet musical that's perfect for all ages! This hilarious production is brought to life with Wyatt Buckle as Shrek, Adam Granados as Donkey, Terralynn Contresceri-Ryan as Fiona, Kyle Kopp as Lord Farquaad and Payne Fraser as Pinocchio. Featuring Alycia Thomas as Gingy, Natalie VanTilborg as Dragon/Mama Bear, Juliet Kalkanis as Teen Fiona, Ella Blanco as Young Fiona, Tania Nelson Pirritano as the Wicked Witch along with Katie Andrs, Natalie Burge, Elise Burt, Aaron Collier, Gavin Hamze, Shawn Hart, Emily Hicks, Calista Kalkanis, Colette Kalkanis, Jacob Matthews, Scott Mcdermott, Maz Nzone, Audrey Gall, Alyssa Ultreras, Cailin Valbuena & Alex Wersen. This production is directed by Amanda Kalkanis and Choreographed by Alycia Thomas with Stage & Costume Design by Nancy Hart and Technical Design by Daniel Milligan.
