Segerstrom Center Announces August Line-Up Of Free Events On The Argyros Plaza
Summer may be coming to an end, but the fun won't stop on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza! From movies and music to dancing and dogs, August has plenty of FREE events for everyone to enjoy.
The final two Summer Jazz on the Argyros Plaza performances will take place August 3 with the Clifford Lamb Trio and the George Gilliam Quartet with Elena Gilliam, then wrapping up on August 10 with Brian Bromberg and His Electric Band.
Trekkies will transport to the Argyros Plaza to enjoy Star Trek (2009), the final film in the 2018 Movie Mondays series. Grab food from Center 360 Café and selected food trucks, enter to win a Macy's shopping spree and stop by the Kia Motors America display for fun activities and free popcorn!
Yappy Hour has been getting four-paws-up reviews and returns on August 16. Special fun is guaranteed with local pet vendors, caricaturist Dominic Arneson and music by Kai Kalama. Relax with your canine companion and enjoy some tail-wagging fun.
On Saturday, August 25, conga down to the Argyros Plaza for a special dance class taught by the cast of the Broadway musical On Your Feet! Learn dance steps and routines from the hit musical from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Don't worry if you can't dance - let the music move your feet!
