Latin Superstar Gloria Trevi Coming to Segerstrom Center for the Arts, 10/2

By:

Latin superstar Gloria Trevi will make her Segerstrom Center for the Arts debut during the El Amor World Tour coming to Segerstrom Hall on October 2, 2016. In addition to announcing her tour, Gloria Trevi premiered her new single "Inmortal," the first original track off of her most recent album El Amor. The song was written by Trevi, Claudia Brant and Motiff with lyrics that captivate and a voice that compels. Trevi was inspired by Maru Vasquez. Vasquez was the president of her fan club in Los Angeles for several years and passed away a year and a half ago. Gloria dedicates this song to her and has given her 14-year-old son Jorge Cruz a percentage to help him with his studies.

Tickets for Gloria Trevi start at $59 and will be available online at SCFTA.org, at the Box Office at 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa or by calling (714) 556-2787. For inquiries about group ticket savings for 10 or more, call the Group Services office at (714) 755-0236.

The premiere of the video for Trevi's new single also took place on VEVO last week. It was recorded during her sold out show in the Arena Monterrey in Mexico. Fourteen cameras and drones were used to create the impactful visual. The concert was filmed for the release of her live CD/DVD that will be made available in June. The Mexican singer/songwriter has proven to be a superstar in music, with more than 30 million albums sold worldwide. She has reinvented herself yet again with a totally different concept from what we've seen in the past.

Trevi is currently shooting the new season of La Voz Mexico as a judge, and is working on the release of the live version of her highly acclaimed El Amor album. Recently, Trevi was awarded the President's Award at the BMI Latin Ceremony for her excellence in Latin Music and will continue her tour in the US through the Union Americana in 2016.
