On Wednesday, October 11, 2017, Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) students from the Musical Theater, Integrated Arts, Production & Design and Classical Voice conservatories as well as MONTAGE! have the unique opportunity to watch legendary songwriter Richard Sherman perform some of his notable music, and hear anecdotes about his time working with Walt Disney.

Select students may get a chance to perform alongside Sherman - an Academy Award and Grammy Award-winning songwriter and Disney legend. He will be accompanied by Tony-nominated actress Susan Egan and Broadway actor Bret Shuford, as well as producer Bruce Kimmel.

The event is part of OCSA's 2017-2018 Master Artist Series. The Master Artist Series allows students to study under guest artists, teachers and award-winning arts professionals. The series began last year in conjunction with OCSA's 30th-anniversary celebration. Professionals in acting, cooking, instrumental and vocal music, musical theater, writing and more visit the campus to inspire students and give them exceptional, once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunities within their art disciplines. OCSA provides a creative, challenging, and nurturing environment that offers bright and talented students unparalleled preparation for higher education and a profession in the arts.
